Project Description
A comprehensive data mining and verification project covering 240 post-secondary institutions across Canada. Our goal was to build a systematic database of verified application URLs, academic programs, and faculty details to empower the client’s research initiatives.
Client Problems
01. Platform Constraints: Technical limits within Airtable restricted the number of columns, making it difficult to organize a massive volume of detailed academic data.
02. Data Complexity: Gathering fragmented information about degree types, specializations, and unique programs into a unified format required high-level oversight.
03. Information Maintenance: Ensuring all URLs and program descriptions remained up-to-date and complete across hundreds of institutions.
Our Solution
Hybrid Data Architecture: We implemented a dual-platform solution using Airtable for quick reference and MS Excel for detailed supplemental datasets.
Categorization: To bypass Airtable’s structural limits, we developed a grouping methodology for similar programs, ensuring data relevance without sacrificing depth.
Multi-Step Verification: Every record underwent a rigorous review process to ensure verified URLs and program details met the 95% accuracy threshold.

Project Results
We delivered a flexible, multi-platform solution that perfectly catered to the client’s specific organizational needs. By implementing a synchronized Airtable-Excel system, we ensured that 100% of the required data was captured and delivered.
This approach successfully resolved all logistical challenges regarding data volume, providing an optimized database for informed decision-making and academic research while maintaining full consistency throughout the project.
